"Rescuing" furniture in the trash is a bit of a habit. After the bedroom side table I did a few weeks ago, here is the next project, a hairdresser stool I found in the trash.
Voici une autre mission de "sauvetage" après la table de nuit trouvée sur le trottoir il y a quelques semaines, voici un nouveau projet avec un tabouret de coiffeur trouvé à la poubelle.
The seating & the foam in it were falling in piece. I removed it all & got a new piece of foam cut to the dimensions of the seat. The foot is still in working condition, it was just dirty with rust stains that I was able to remove with a scouring pad.
L'assise et la mousse à l'intérieur tombaient en morceaux. J'ai tout enlevé & fait recouper un morceau de mousse aux dimensions de l'assise. Le pied réglable fonctionne toujours, il était juste sale avec quelques tâches de rouille que j'ai enlevé avec une éponge grattante.
I used a colorful oil cloth by Petit Pan to recover the seat, keeping in my current theme of vivid (neon?) colors.
J'ai utilisé un coton enduit par Petit Pan pour recouvrir l'assise. Je reste dans mon thème actuel des couleurs vives (fluos?).
I am loving the cheerful result.
J'aime beaucoup ce résultat très joyeux.
