Trash to treasure / Poubelle à trésor

I found this side table on the side walk. The top is in plywood but the rest of the table is in actual wood. It had also a very damaged front to close the compartment that I removed. After some sanding, I applied a white base, then I painted the entire table in a off white & finally I added some neon paint to the sides & inside for a pop of color.
J'ai trouvé cette table de nuit sur le trottoir. Le haut est en contreplaqué, mais le reste de la table est en bois massif. J'ai enlevé une petite porte très endommagée qui fermait le compartiment. Après avoir poncé, j'ai mis un apprêt, j'ai ensuite peint l'ensemble en blanc (très légèrement) cassé & j'ai enfin ajouté du rose fluo sur les côtés & à l'intérieur pour donner un electrochoc à l'ensemble.

Coffee table make-over / Relooking de table basse

I found this table at a thrift store during my last vacation in Brittany. Very cute shape, but the color and finish (formica) was a bit boring and deserved a little make-over.
J'ai trouvé cette table dans une brocante lors de mes dernières vacances en Bretagne. La forme est très jolie, mais la couleur et finition en formica pas très attrayante. Un petit relooking s'imposait donc.

Other discoveries during the shopping trip, some daisy-themed kitschy plates & serving dishes.
Autres trouvailles pendant la visite, de la vaiselle un peu kitsch sur le theme de la marguerite.

To prepare the nice formica finish, some light sanding & base coat by "Liberon".
Pour préparer le formica, un très léger ponçage et un apprêt "Liberon".

Paints by "Liberon" in an acid green/yellow for the top & sides of the table, and in an oatmeal color for the drawers.
Peintures "Liberon" jaune acide pour le haut & les côtés de la table, et couleur argile pour les tiroirs.






Finally for the finishing touch, some colorful papers by "Petit Pan" to line the drawers. Et voilà encore un endroit pour ranger tout mon matériel de couture!
Enfin des papiers colorés de "Petit Pan" pour l'intérieur des tiroirs. I now have another place to hide all of my sewing supplies!
